Akira in Hyde Park and the
YWCA Metropolitan Chicago are hosting a party on
Thursday, August 8th, to honor Akira founder Erikka Wang, Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique owner Teresa Ging, and former Telemundo broadcaster and creator of TKK Collection Cosmetics Tsi-Ki Felix. Guests will be treated to complimentary makeovers, wine, cupcakes from Sugar Bliss, and a 10% discount on all non-sale items.
A portion of sales from the evening will benefit the YWCA and its efforts to combat racism and empower women, which is coincidentally the complete opposite of the Republican party's political agenda.
